The ideal aging temperature for Maker’s Mark 46 is in the 50 degree range. In order to achieve this criteria, a unique whiskey warehouse facility was cut into the hillside creating a cave like experience. Since rock was prevalent in the subsoil conditions, natural rock walls surround the bourbon barrels.
The area in front of the cave structure houses a tasting room and coopering area. The buyer recognition wall in the tasting room features glass art by Brook White.
